How to make a Limeade
To make a Limeade, build over ice in a highball glass: 1 oz lime, ¾ oz simple syrup and 3 oz soda water. Garnish with lime peel.
Contains no alcohol as written. If you need to avoid alcohol completely, check labels: some products sold as non-alcoholic, like beers, wines and bitters, can contain small amounts.

- 2
Pour in lime juice and simple syrup.
- 3
Top with soda water.
- 4

Why build it in the glass? Nothing here needs shaking, and pouring straight in keeps the soda water fizzy.
No simple syrup? Muddle 3 tsp sugar with a splash of water in the glass until it dissolves, then carry on.

Mostly tart and sweet. It's a non-alcoholic drink.
What's the difference between a Limeade and a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri?
Both use lime, simple syrup and soda water. The Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri uses strawberries. The Limeade is stirred and served in a highball glass; the Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri is shaken and served in a cocktail glass.
Can I make Limeades in a batch?
Yes. For 6 drinks, mix 6 oz lime and 4½ oz simple syrup in a jug and chill it. Top each glass with soda water as you serve, so it stays fizzy.
