Mostly sweet and tart. It's a light drink at about 6% ABV once mixed.

How strong is a Singapore Sling?

About 6% ABV after mixing with ice, closer to a beer or glass of wine.

What's the difference between a Singapore Sling and an Orange Oasis?

Both use Cherry brandy and gin. The Singapore Sling adds grenadine, sweet and sour and carbonated water, while the Orange Oasis uses orange juice and ginger ale. Both are shaken, but the Singapore Sling goes in a hurricane glass and the Orange Oasis in a highball glass.

What can I use instead of grenadine?

Raspberry syrup will work.

Can I make Singapore Slings in a batch?

Yes. For 6 drinks, mix 3 oz Cherry brandy, 3 oz grenadine, 6 oz gin and 12 oz sweet and sour in a jug and chill it. Add 8⅓ oz of cold water to stand in for the dilution from shaking. Top each glass with carbonated water as you serve, so it stays fizzy.

What glass do you serve a Singapore Sling in?

A hurricane glass.
