How to make a Pina Colada

To make a Pina Colada, blend with ice and pour into a hurricane glass: 3 oz light rum, 1½ oz coconut milk and 1½ oz pineapple.

You'll need

1 drink

Make it virgin: the Virgin Pina Colada.

Instructions

  1. 1

Add light rum, coconut milk and pineapple to a blender with about a cup of ice.

  2. 2

Blend until smooth, about 20-30 seconds (add a little more ice if you want it thicker).

  3. 3

    Pour into a hurricane glass.

Why blend? Blending light rum and coconut milk with ice gives a smooth, frozen texture.
