How to make a Mojito Extra
To make a Mojito Extra, build over ice in a highball glass: ½ oz mint, 1 oz lemon juice, 4¼ oz dark rum, 4¼ oz club soda and 1 dash Angostura bitters.
You'll need
- Mint½ oz
- Lemon juice1 oz
- Dark rum4¼ oz
- Club soda4¼ oz
- Angostura bitters1 dash
Instructions
- 1
Add mint to a highball glass and press gently with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon to release the oils and juice.
- 2
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- 3
Pour in lemon juice, dark rum and Angostura bitters.
- 4
Top with club soda.
- 5
Give it one gentle stir.
Why build it in the glass? Nothing here needs shaking, and pouring straight in keeps the club soda fizzy.
