How to make a Kamikaze

To make a Kamikaze, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: 1 oz vodka, 1 oz Triple sec and 1 oz lime juice.

    Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

    Add vodka, triple sec and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice.

    Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

    Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Why shake? Lime juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.

Yes. For 6 drinks, mix 6 oz vodka, 6 oz Triple sec and 6 oz lime juice in a jug and chill it. Add 3⅔ oz of cold water to stand in for the dilution from shaking. Pour over fresh ice to serve.
