How to make a Caipirissima
To make a Caipirissima, build over ice in a highball glass: 1½ oz simple syrup and 2½ oz white rum. Garnish with lime.

Why build it in the glass? Simple syrup and white rum only need a gentle stir, so there's no shaker to wash.
No simple syrup? Muddle 2 tbsp sugar with a splash of water in the glass until it dissolves, then carry on.
