How to make an Alice Cocktail

To make an Alice Cocktail, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: ⅓ oz grenadine, ⅓ oz orange juice, ⅔ oz pineapple juice and 1⅓ oz cream.

Contains no alcohol as written. If you need to avoid alcohol completely, check labels: some products sold as non-alcoholic, like beers, wines and bitters, can contain small amounts.

You'll need

1 drink

Pairs well with: Grenadine · All syrups

Instructions

  1. 1

Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

  2. 2

Add grenadine, orange juice, pineapple juice and cream to a cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

    Fill the shaker with ice.

  4. 4

Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

  5. 5

Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Why shake? Orange juice and pineapple juice need a hard shake to mix and chill properly; cream blends in smoothly only with a hard shake.
