How to make a Mocha-Berry
To make a Mocha-Berry, heat gently and pour into a mug: 6 oz coffee, 2 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur, 1 oz cocoa powder and whipped cream.
You'll need
Instructions
- 1
Warm a mug by filling it with hot water, then empty it.
- 2
Heat cocoa powder gently in a small saucepan (or the microwave), stirring, until smooth and steaming, without letting it boil.
- 3
Brew the coffee.
- 4
Pour it into the warmed mug with the heated mixture.
- 5
Add Chambord raspberry liqueur, adding the alcohol last so it stays in the drink.
- 6
Stir gently.
- 7
Float whipped cream on top: pour it gently over the back of a spoon so it sits on the surface, without stirring.
Why heat it gently? Milk, cream and chocolate scorch if they boil, and adding the alcohol last keeps it from cooking off.
