How to make a Grasshopper

To make a Grasshopper, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass: ¾ oz Green Creme de Menthe, ¾ oz Creme de Cacao and ¾ oz light cream.

    Chill a cocktail glass: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

    Add green creme de menthe, creme de cacao and light cream to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice.

    Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

    Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.

Why shake? Light cream blends in smoothly only with a hard shake.
