How to make a B-52

To make a B-52, layer carefully into a shot glass: ½ oz Baileys irish cream, ½ oz Grand Marnier and ⅓ oz Kahlua.

    Pour the ingredients into a shot glass one at a time, heaviest first (usually the sweetest, lowest-proof liquid) and lightest last.

    Pour slowly over the back of a bar spoon held just above the drink, so each layer floats on the one below.

    Serve straight away, before the layers mix.

Why pour slowly? Heavier liquids sink, so pouring gently over a spoon lets each layer float on the one below.
