How to make an Apricot Lady
To make an Apricot Lady, shake with ice and strain into a rocks glass: 1½ oz light rum, 1 oz Apricot brandy, ¼ oz Triple sec, ½ oz lemon juice and 1 egg white. Garnish with orange.

Add light rum, apricot brandy, triple sec, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker.

Shake hard without ice for about 10 seconds to whip the egg.

Add ice to the shaker.

Shake again for 10-15 seconds, until the shaker feels very cold.

Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

Garnish with an orange wheel.
Why shake? Lemon juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly; the egg white needs a dry shake first to turn silky.
