How to make an Absolutely Fabulous
To make an Absolutely Fabulous, shake with ice and strain into a champagne flute: 1½ oz vodka, 3 oz cranberry juice and champagne.

Chill a flute: fill it with ice and water while you mix, then tip it out.

Add vodka and cranberry juice to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake hard for 10-15 seconds, until the outside is frosty.

Strain into the chilled flute.

Top with champagne.

Why shake? Cranberry juice needs a hard shake to mix and chill properly.
